Back when I was a
confused lil' emo ball with a flat top, I decided to pick up the
bass. I jammed out hardcore to the music of New Found Glory, The
Ataris, and The Getupkids, just to name a few. I thought that was
the best music in the world besides techno hip-hop of course. Until
I met a dark little boy named Josh Kercheville. He began to
introduce me to new music such as Dust For Life, 36 Crazyfists, From
Zero, ect. When I heard these bands I instantly threw away my old
CDs from the evil emo genre. Later that year, Josh told me his band
was looking for a new bassist; aware of his knowledge for music and
how to play guitar, I knew that they had to be at least somewhat
good.I practically begged to try out, but then again, I was a former
emo kid with a crappy bass that I could hardly play. |
